A limited ultrasound at The Well Clinic is free. Images are reviewed by our Medical Director, a licensed MD.
If you’re considering your pregnancy options, an ultrasound can help determine the viability and location of the pregnancy and how far along you are.
The ultrasound will:
- Confirm the pregnancy
- Help determine the viability of the pregnancy
- Determine fetal age and due date
- Document the location of the pregnancy
The ultrasound will not:
- Identify gender
- Diagnose abnormalities or problems
Ultrasounds will be done when the pregnancy test is positive at the discretion of the nurse.
Why it matters
A woman facing an unplanned pregnancy needs clear information about where she stands. The scan gives her that.
What your gift makes possible
Ultrasound equipment, trained medical staff and physician review all cost money. Donors, including the Knights of Columbus who gave our first machine in 2012, make it possible to offer this care at no charge.
