Luta's story

Luta was here on scholarship from Africa. She came to The Well Clinic in a panic, saying she needed to end her pregnancy right away because it would jeopardize her scholarship. She said, “There is nothing else I can do.”

After we presented her with information about all her options and offered referrals to community agencies that could help with her situation, she decided to take a few days to consider her decision. She left much calmer, knowing that she did in fact have choices. Later she found out that her scholarship was not in jeopardy.
